Pretty solid little spot near the down town area. My wife and I decided to try it out when we couldn't get into Olivia or Rocca on a Saturday. We love mom and pop vibes, so this was a pleasant find. They were fairly busy when we came in, so when we checked in for our reservation and not greeted in roughly 10 minutes by our server, we decided to take a couple empty seats at the bar. There was only one bartender and he was clearly busy on service, but he got around to us in a timely manner and despite being busy had a pretty pleasant attitude. He didn't really tour guide us through the menu or ask if we'd been here before, just took our order and kept about his business, which worked for us as we hadn't been out in a bit and wanted the time to chat. The cocktails were fantastic, I got the Bumpa (their version of an old fashioned) from their menu and she tried the strawberry basil martini, which was perfectly balanced between sweet and refreshing. We switched to a Super Tuscan on their menu for dinner. The food was solid, the meat ball appetizer and sauce was delicious, and the starter Caesar salad was also tasty (their dressing was clearly homemade. Entree's were decent; my wife got the market priced pasta, which I'll admit was the best part of the meal, but was disappointed they didn't have the cheese wheel to prepare it table side, yet they still charged us full price for it. I got the Veal, which was served in a lemon sauce and paid the up charge for the pasta. The pasta is truly sensational, but the Veal left a lot to be desired; smaller pieces which were a bit chewier than normal, and the lemon sauce lacked flavor which I think added to the chewiness. We ended with tiramisu which was definitely home made and hit home. All in all it was a pretty solid experience and we'd definitely go back! Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Price per person: $30–40
