This hidden gem is rich in character and is one of the oldest pub in Cornwall, with a long history of hospitality dating back to around 950AD. Less than a mile away from the North Cornish coast, The Bush Inn is a perfect stopover for those hiking the South West Coast Path. Open all day every day, serving food 12pm-8pm daily.

We came here after a long day in Cornwall, we walked in not realising we should’ve booked but the staff went above and beyond to get us seated for a meal in a more private area. The staff were lovely and made us feel welcome. My one year old was the star of the show with the owner. Food came quite quickly. We all had fish and chips, I found it a little bland but everyone else enjoyed their food. Wish we could go back! Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £30–40

I’m walking the south west coastal path and heard that the Bush Inn let you camp in their garden if you eat in their pub. What an absolute treat! I had the lemon herb chicken burger and it was the best meal I’ve eaten on the whole trail! Perfectly seasoned and cooked, the thick cut chips were excellent, and I ended up having breakfast there the next morning. The staff were kind and efficient, despite being very busy for a Tuesday. 10/10. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £20–30

Lovely ancient Inn, great atmosphere. Good selection of beers, cider, wines and spirits. Tasty pub style food and excellent service. Recommended if you're in the area.
