The Chimes Covington is a wonderful restaurant that you just might miss as it is a little hidden from view. The views of the swamp and the Tchefuncte River from the outside patio in back are gorgeous and picturesque. The food is very good and reasonably priced. The service is excellent. If you've never been to the Chimes and you are in the area, this lovely restaurant should be high on your list. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

They do not care. Not happy. Waited over 5 minutes before me and my husband were even acknowledged. Yet, the tables around us were bused and wiped before anyone came to our table. Not a hello-has anyone helped you. Food came out before my drink and my order was missing an item and with an item I asked not to have. When I informed the person who brought my food, she said she would tell our waitress, but she just walked into the back when my server was near the bar. The restaurant was not full, lots of empty tables.
