Love this place.  Muffins are warm and delicious.  Great breakfast burrito.  Everything tastes fresh.
I love this little gem. The food is delicious (especially the avocado breakfast sandwich and buffalo chicken wrap) and the staff is the "know your customers name" type. Exceptionally friendly, helpful and all around lovely. Highly recommend!
The Common Cafe & Patisserie is located just across the street from the Norwood Common.  Perchance that is how they came about their name? It is a small spot located on a corner, but rather cozy with a few tables lined up against either wall and a couple of counter seats by the window. I ordered a Turkey Delight $6.95 (apple slices, romaine, & crisp bacon w/ honey dijon on multigrain bread) and a couple of items from the pastry case to go. I liked the crispness in my sandwich due to the ribs from the lettuce leaves, bacon, and fresh slices of raw green apples.  But by the time I got my lunch home, there remained no evidence of the bread having been toasted whatsoever.  Still, a satisfying lunch. The pastries were saved for breakfast.  The cinnamon roll $1.85 was pretty good for a cinnamon roll, though it didn't stand out as anything particularly special.  The blueberry scone $1.95 was pretty hefty and looked quite good with the fruit oozing out from one side.  Turned out that nearly all the fruit was what you could see though, as once we sliced it open there was near nil fruit on the inside.  What a disappointment!  The scone itself was not your typical dry dense scone though, which was good.  It wasn't too sweet either. Service can be a tad slow since each is made to order by the small staff on hand.   but I could tell that they had their regulars given the interaction I witnessed between them and their patrons.
