Service was good, drinks were not very good, and the food wasn't of the quality a downtown restaurant should produce.

I have had good service and food in past and have tipped well because of it. However, the service today was horrible. Ordered grits and a biscuit with my omelet. I was the only one seated at a table across from the bar with 5 or 6 people at the bar. Other than myself the seating area across from the bar was empty. When my meal came I asked for butter for my biscuit, no big deal, but the "waitress" went back to bar tending. I figured she forgot what I requested. While waiting I realized I got hashbrowns with my omelet instead of grits. Instead of eating the omelet I continued to wait for waitress to bring the butter. I thought I would mention the absence of the grits I ordered at that time. She continued  talking with customers at the bar. So, I brought my plate up to the bar and mentioned that I ordered grits, not hashbrowns, with my omelet. I also reminded her about the butter. She said "Ya, I know. I was going to get it." So, I went back and sat down to wait. I figured she would grab my plate from the bar and bring it back to the kitchen to rectify. Leaving my plate at the bar, she went back to chit-chatting with her customers at the bar. Not wanting to wait any longer or eat an omelet that the bar tender left out in the open at the bar, I left. No excuse for that type of service. Other than the people at the bar the place was almost empty.
