Ambiance and location: Good hang out place. There is even an area with couches where you can order food and wait for your ferry or train- the restaurant is right beside the station. Food: I ordered their haloumi fries two days in a row! There were so so good! They come with a sweet chili sauce. Not many gluten-free options. I did have the quinoa salad and it did not disappoint! The piratish/sea decor might lead you to think there is lots of seafood- but not so many options. For seafood go right outside to the shack- affordable platters and mussels galore. This restaurant is more of a pub with Scottish/english options. They even have curry.
Brill, cheap beer, cheap food.
The Corryvreckan has the benefit of being large, conveniently located and with all-day opening hours.  It seems unable to decide if it wants to be a pub or a cafeteria and depending on how you choose to look at it, it's successful either way.  Lots of classic pub fare reasonably well executed.  You order via an app, which pretty much sums up the approach to service.  You can order at the bar if you're not prepared to install software just to be served.  If you're nearby and you're hungry, it's a viable option, but there must be more to life than this.
