I've been going here since I was a kid with family. Great takeaway and worth collecting it as the staff are so polite and friendly. Haven't been in a while, and they recognised me after a few years. Would recommend this gorgeous food and hope to go back more frequently. DO NOT GO!! I usually buy Chinese from our local place in Mitcham, however since moving to Wallington I decided to buy from this place. I cannot explain how bad the food was! The rice was not fully cooked and had a smell to it, the spicy squid was wet and tasted horrible and the lamb in black bean sauce tasted like it was gone off (the lamp was full of fat and very little meat). I was in there for about 20 minutes waiting for my food and in that time I did not see anyone else come in. I should have realised then and walked out but I trusted the high rating from Google review and it was a bad decision. Very friendly staff and tasty food at a good price. Highly recommend a visit. You won't find The Emperor's Kitchen on delivery type websites (eg Just Eat or Hungry House), since they are a collection only, local business - but definitely worth the walk!
