f I could give the atmosphere higher than a 5, I would. The whole restaurant is a walled in garden of big trees and plants. The ceiling is pretty much open. It’s a very magical place. We sat down at 6:30, the place pretty much filled up by 7. Waitstaff was sweet, happy, professional and helpful. Food was good. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ฿1,000+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

My favourite dining experience in all of Chiang Mai! I was wandering down a beautiful alleyway and stumbled upon The Faces Gallery & Gastro Bar at the edge of the Old City near the south gate. I was immediately drawn in by the terracotta garden and incredible artwork throughout. It is a place to get lost in because it is so easy to wander and admire every single detail around the garden, gastro bar and indoor dining area. I would highly recommend visiting more than once - once during the day and once during the evening. Both times of day are incredibly special and offer different types of atmosphere. During the day you can visibly appreciate all of the details and during the night you can enjoy the enchanting garden filled with twinkling lights.

The food is inspiring. I have never been to a place that is more creative. I had the pleasure of meeting the wonderful family that owns the restaurant and they were delighted to teach me about the various dishes, the inspiration, the history and vision. It was such a treat!

Dishes you must try: Duck Confit with Curry, Pork Nuckle, Famous Pizza, Larb and Papaya Salad!
