Food and service here is always good, which explains why they're always booked and busy. We typically go and get a bunch of appetizers. Lamb chops were soooo amazing. The apricot jam it laid over paired perfectly for a sweet and savory bite. Huge fan of the the cheesesteak steam buns as well.

I really really enjoyed this place. Everything was good from start to finish. The French onion soup onion rings were delish. The lamb chops were good. The gucci lemonade was great. Mozzarella sticks were super huge and the sauce was good. I would definitely revisit and try more things. The starter popcorn with truffle oil Parmesan and pesto was heavenly.

We've eaten here so many times over the years and I've never had a bad experience. Whether takeout or dining in, the Food Market ALWAYS nails it so I was thrilled to see them featured on the Netflix series Fresh, Fried, and Crispy right after my beloved Mt. Vernon marketplace. I'm not sure I can find a whole lot to say about the Food Market that hasn't already been said, so to make a Ky T. review a little less long LOL.... Let me reiterate, I've never had a bad meal from this place and the service is always stellar. The crab Benedicts and cream of crab soup from here satiated my brunch cravings, time and time again for takeout all through the entire pandemic and never once, did I feel they skipped a beat from the perfect execution you get when dining in. I love the truffle popcorn and fries here and the pretzel breadsticks are really good, too. You won't want to miss the Baltimore club sandwich (sans bacon for me) because.... yum! Lol. Thanks, Kelli B. for introducing me to Baltimore's best cream of crab soup and the Food Market's bomb flourless chocolate cake, I'd never tried prior to our National Best Friends' Day outing. That soup, that flourless chocolate cake, that yummo soft shell crab you gave me some of, YOU, and those awesome swings across the street at BlueBird truly are the best!! :)
