The Galley Cafe & Takeaway in Uig is a fantastic seafood restaurant that serves up some of the best seafood dishes in the Isle of Skye. The menu features a variety of delicious options, including fish and chips, calamari, lobster, venison burger, langoustines, scallops, crab salad, mussels, and more. The quality of the food is outstanding and the preparation is top-notch, with side salads and slaw that are clearly homemade. The staff are friendly and prompt, and they take great care to ensure that all COVID-19 safety measures are strictly followed. The views of Uigg and the Isles are beautiful, and the outdoor seating is perfect for enjoying a nice day. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a delicious seafood experience!

Couldn’t ask for better hospitality! Our car got stuck in ice after picking up a takeaway. The chef gave us a lift back to our accommodation! Excellent food also, highly recommended

Had visited in the summer and really enjoyed it so decided to give it a visit on our winter break.Starter of mozzarella sticks for me and homemade potato and leek soup for my partner.We then both had the scallops,black pudding and chips main each.Huge portion of scallops accompanied with a lovely fresh salad and chips on the side(not enough room on the plate!).Was delicious and really great value. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £20–30

Super fresh seafood, perfectly cooked, in an informal restaurant, simple but excellent. We had one of the specials, salmon three ways, and an amazingly fresh haddock. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20
