This restaurant and David J. Sencer CDC Museum can be both really attractive for tourists. The truth is that you will really like mouthwatering poutine, pastrami and breakfast bagels. Many people visit The General Muir to try perfectly cooked new york cheesecakes, cupcakes and French toasts. In accordance with the reviewers' opinions, waiters offer good wine, craft beer or michelada. Order great chai latte, ice tea or lemonade, it's a must when visiting this place.

Invite your friends to this spot with a cosy atmosphere. The knowledgeable staff welcomes guests all year round. The fast service is something these restaurateurs care about. This restaurant offers you a great choice of dishes at attractive prices. The designer created a divine decor. 4.5 is how visitors rate The General Muir on Zomato.

We ordered the Poached Eggs & Grits (comes with gruyere, roast mushrooms, madeira sauce, and toast sticks), Smoked Hash (comes with crisped pastrami, cabbage, peppers, caramelized onions, and 2 sunny side eggs), and the Pecan Crusted French Toast (comes with maple syrup, spiced butter, and roasted bananas). One of the best places to get brunch in Atlanta!
Outstanding fare. Take the opportunity to enjoy this upscale diner/bakery where you’ll feel like you’re in a deli in the heart of New York City. Their reuben sandwich is a masterwork, and their poutine will bless your life.
Eating here, or rather trying to eat here was such a shitshow that honestly left a bad taste in my mouth.  Let's start by saying, they know they're good and successful.  The crowds that Sunday brunch draw in give plenty of proof to how many families, working professionals, and trendy college kids wait in lines outside to get a table or a bite. What I hoped instead was that the receptionist and staff knew how to judge time and communicate with their kitchen better.  I asked the receptionist a question about the menu who went to ask the kitchen for an answer, but came back 3 minutes later and just completely forgot I even existed. The communication between our place in line, bar seating, and food order got so convoluted that we ended up ordering To-Go from the bar, which frankly I would have preferred to do from the start had I known how this would play out. Props to the General Muir for their journey to success, but as locally famous as they are you would expect them to devise a better system, as it seems that dwindling service is the biggest red flag.  The food, while a bit overpriced for what you're getting, is delicious.  However, if a nice location, interior, and service is what the bump in price is for, then perhaps they should reconsider.  We ordered the smoked hash, burger stack, and reuben.  All of which were wonderful.
