Booked a table for five in the Georgian Room for a wedding dress shopping trip this past weekend. I have had tea at the Fairmont three other times. All pre Covid in the stunning old Georgian dining room. Last year, we had Mother's Day brunch at the newly renovated hotel and it was terrible. This time was no better. This time, We were crammed around a tiny coffee table. Barely room for flatware and tea cups. Our waiter brought out a small extra table for food. We were asked it we wanted champagne and ordered five glasses and Veuve cliquot was the only champagne offered. No menu with any other champagnes were presented. Food was good. Tea was okay. Not very hot. We had to ask for cream and sugar. No more lovely sugar cubes- just packets. Bill was- $600! Yes- $600 for tea with one glass of champagne. That did not include the tip. The valet was full- at noon so we also had to park in a very dirty garage next door. Children were racing up and down the stairs of the lounge area. The Georgian is a shell of its former self. I won't be back.

Man this place is super beautiful inside. The big Chandelier, windows and just the atmosphere felt perfect for a high tea! Took my parents for a little tea time and everything was great. Service, food and price was just right. It's a must for the whole experience.

I have been to tea at the Georgian Room several times over the years. I made reservations for tea for myself and two former students, as going to tea (usually Queen Mary for convenience) has become a tradition for us. The room is lovely and the service exceptional. However, the food was not. I ordered a vegan tea, which was tasteless. Raw asparagus on dry bread? My guests, who are not vegan, were also not impressed. When the bill came, I was floored. With tip and parking, my bill was close to $400. Yes, Seattle truly is a city for the rich.
$$$$ Price range per person $15 - $60
