After seeing St Elizabeth's Church, it may be a nice idea to visit this cafe. Good croissant sandwiches, soup and bircher muesli will impress you at the first bite. Taste tasty croissants, chocolate cookies and chocolate chip cookies. At The Goat Herder, clients may have great espresso, lemonade or fresh juices.

The convenient location of this place makes it easy to reach even in rush hours. The accommodating staff welcomes visitors all year round. The terrific service is something these restaurateurs care about. You are to be pleasantly impressed with average prices at this spot. The fine decor and cozy atmosphere let guests feel relaxed here. As for the Google rating, this cafe received 4.7.

Overpriced./Yes, prices are clear (if you see clear in the dark), but don't be sure before you tried. After tasted and saw the place service included, I wrote the comment in comparsion with other similar places and offers./

Well this is just the kind of review we love to read, when every hospitality business in the world is on its knees! Our prices are based on the quality of our ingredients, and the skill required to prepare our products. Our prices are on par or below other speciality coffee shops in Budapest. They are clearly marked, so you have a choice. Next time, please take all of this into consideration.

Coffee is fine but the girl at the bar doesn’t like the customers (and maybe her life either:))

Hi Bence, thanks for this review. It's sad to hear. Times are hard at the moment, the world is in a negative news cycle. And I guess sometimes it's difficult to not think about all of that, and put a brave face on. But, nevertheless, our coffee shop should be one of joy - with smiles and excellent customer service. So, thank you for letting me know about this problem - I'll work on fixing it :-)

This was the best place I ate at regularly in the entire city. I came here at least twice a week for over 2 months and loved every minute. The staff and owners were so friendly, welcoming, and hospitable to locals and foreigners alike. It was a very special thing to have friends here during my time in Budapest. I didn't order a thing I didn't like. Plain croissants, lattes, espresso, soup, and banana bread were all on a regular rotation for my friends and me. They even let us study here for hours at time. I highly recommend visiting the Goat Herder if you're in the city.Annika from the USA
