We sat on the Stoep area, you can also sit outside under the vines growing overhead. Squirrels come to visit, great for the kids. You also get the odd small bird coming to look for bread crumbs that has fallen on the floor. There is also seating inside. Fresh cake/deserts daily. Great atmosfer, staff friendly, food I'd great. You can drink the local wines with your meals, per glass or per bottle. Hears also available. Goats paddock outside as you approach restaurant. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: R 200–300 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Charming Wine Estate in Paarl that isn't talked about enough. The Goatshed with the goats is definitely the highlight of the estate. We visited the Goatshed restaurant for Lunch and it was absolutely delightful. We had the 3 course menu for restaurant week and all the dishes were delicious. Of course the wine was good as well and complimented the main course. If you find yourself in Paarl and you are looking for a laid back, family friendly restaurant, Fairview is the way to go.
