Very nice place, great seafood and desserts - seems home made. One of the owners who is also the waiter seems to love what he's doing, and it creates a homey atmosphere inside.

It's one thing to have mushy peas which immediately took this northern English boy back to Friday nights as a child, teen, and adult in Liverpool, or perfect oysters, but at difficult times for restaurants and hospitality, people delivering excellent food and service are to be treasured. Being able to celebrate a friend's new job with wonderful things to eat and drink, and looked after by kind, funny, and attentive staff is one of life's joys. Please make sure they can continue to be brilliant at what they do by following Covid instructions, and especially the wise-cracking, story-telling, utterly charming no-idea-where-her-accent-was-from waitress. We need restaurants. We need superb staff. They're so precious. They absolutely are The Good Companion.
