The Great Catch is a very good alternative to Tarpon Spring's Rusty Bellies, minus the waterfront atmosphere. It's also twice the distance from New Port Richey, which was a bit of a let down, but not anything they can fix. Overall, it's a great place to eat! Food, all around, was very good, fresh, and tasty. Portions were comparable, like many really good seafood restaurants, some in our party needed to take food home. Service was acceptable, very polite, attentive, and knowledgeable. The atmosphere, however is a bit outdated. The interior looks a bit run down, and it's a bit too dark/dreary. It's set inside a small strip mall, and unfortunately, if driving in from the west of Lutz/Land O'Lakes, you'll need to drive past and make u-turn to get there. Nothing the owners have control over, it's off LO'L Blvd., a divided highway. I certainly understand why they haven't moved tho, that is to a more appealing local, see prices. The price, their prices are absolutely in line with other great seafood establishments in West Central Florida, something that can only be attributed to lower overhead of a nicer local. You get exactly what you order for the price, again, fresh great seafood; what more could anyone ask for! They are exactly what I would expect from a New England Seafood Restaurant. I would highly recommend The Great Catch by Taste of Boston! Great Catch is a waste of money. Their prices are extremely high and their portions and quality are low. The servers are rude and unhelpful and the atmosphere is unpleasant. To give you an idea of how bad they are, the only seafood restaurant worse than Great Catch is Red Lobster. Save your money and head to Pinellas County
