I’m new to the area and stopped in by chance. The smell coming from the restaurant was enough to have me interested. I’m glad I did because I can not recommend this place enough! I’m a vegetarian but my husband is a carnivore so anyplace that has options other than a salad or a black bean burger already scores points. The food was killer! I had the No Pig Sandwich with pasta salad and he had the Chow Boa Sliders with sweet potato fries. Also had the nachos (no meat obvi). Everything was delicious! And our service was top notch! Our servers Lisa and Kenzie were super friendly and attentive and the manager Paul went above and beyond when I asked about the way the tofu was prepared. He told me and then we paid and left, and he found us outside the restaurant to bring me a sample! I can’t speak highly enough of the food and service and definitely recommend it if you’re in the area!

Tonight was our first time at The Improper Pig. On a scale of 1 to 10, we give them a 15. Rich was our host, and he is AWESOME! He was patient and attentive, he answered all our questions -- including ones we didn't know we had. He even told the manager it was our first time in, and the manager came by to thank us for giving them a try and give us a card for $5 off our next visit.
My husband is NOT a fan of BBQ, but he enjoyed the brisket, ribs and chopped bbq on the improper charcuterie. He said if you like egg rolls - you'll LOVE pork rolls! I liked it all, lol and found new bbq sauces to enjoy. We had 4 different appetizers and split the charcuterie and banana pudding. We took over half home with us, so yes, large portions. What else can I say? We were overdue for date night, and this was excellent! We can't wait to come back !! Thank you !!!
