The Indian Cafe is located in a lovely old villa. The food is fantastic. The dishes are full of flavor and a good size. The Nan bread is hot and soft without being too soggy. I highly recommend the tandoori platter for 2 as a starter, it’s enough food for 3 to 4 people. If you still have food for a dessert you should try the Gulab Jamun. The service was good, but there was an older member of staff training a new employee, she was very condescending to the new employee. Your Manager GEE answer roughly and very bad. We are taking dinner on table number 22 after taking order he or any staff members not coming back for further Order. We I go out side and ask one of staff members for more food she say “kitchen is closed” without informing by GEE Or any staff members. Because they are busy with big table. When I go for pay my bill Manager GEE say “I forgot to tell you” and “I thing you don’t need anymore food” when I say how can you decide GEE say sorry for that I give $20 credit note for next time.
What do you think I am bagger. Listen GEE there are so many restaurants in Nelson.
GEE because of your service you are loosing customers.
And Don’t give $20 credit not to any customer. You need to solve the problem. This is not right way. First you need to learn customer service.
