Attentive service, great house wine, reasonable prices and a nice view of the harbour side.
We ordered our Vegan meal and it took over an hour to appear. We then had to dismiss the starter because it contained milk. They didn't think sour cream contained milk. We then waited a further 15 minutes for the mains which was just burger and chips with a side salad. Maybe it was because it was Sunday and everyone was having the roast, but they could have told us we would have to wait. They didn't understand Vegetarian let alone Vegan and the waiting staff didn't know what their food contained - beware if you have allergies.
The place didn’t know how to manage a party of 50 people with the rest of the tables. In the middle of the dinner the they turned off the music and all the restaurant needed to be quiet while this group was giving a speech and screaming. People started asking for the bill because it was impossible to stand the annoying group in such a small place. We went to this place to celebrate our wedding day with all our family and we left the night disappointed after being told to shut up by the other group. We had not been advised by the restaurant that this was going to be the situation that day and instead of enjoying what should be a special occasion, we spent the night feeling stressed by the other group with mediocre service, over cooked food, orders being forgotten and general disappointment. My recommendation to the place: if you have such a big group, you should close such a small place for the party and don’t make the other customers who are also paying suffer as a consequence.
