Worst, wrong absolutely worst pub in Stockholm that we have visited and I have been to many. A real bottom scratcher, the words "Service minded" do not exist here! As it was not possible to book a table on their website for the same evening as we wanted to pay a visit to have a bite to eat and wash it down with different beers with my two sons. So I emailed them and got a reply that we had a table from 6.30pm on 31st March 2024. We arrived at Liffey at 6.32pm, went up to the waiter/bartender and announced that we had arrived and my name. he checked his booking system but found nothing on us, he asked his colleague who was equally surprised. Then I took out my mobile and showed them the email. Helping us felt more secondary to them, they put more time into whether this could be right as there was nothing in their booking system. You guys I think the barman turned up, he wasn't a bit nicer and only spoke in English, no problem we continued in English. (if you run or work in a pub in Sweden then you must also be able to speak Swedish, how difficult can it be?) Now the atmosphere started to get irritated, in truth even from my side. We were directed to a small and round standing table max 60cm with three barstools for three grown men? There were several tables in the room that were free and more normal measurements for food service but with the signs that they were reserved from 19.00 etc. When I objected to the table placement, the useless head bartender/waiter thought I was rude and would spoil the mood for them and that this was probably not the right place for us. The question you can ask yourself, should you have to be humiliated and stand with hat in hand to eat and drink in this now proven "worst in class" pub! Usually education solves many difficulties but in this case I don't believe in that solution! Even my sons will leave the review these amateurs deserve! (copy of my booking is attached) We instead walked 200 meters to O'Connell's Irish Pub and we were very well taken care of, it felt good that I didn't have to pay Liffeys for an entire evening that ended up north of SEK 2,000.
