The one star is only for service which was friendly and helpful. The food was awful. The Cream of mushroom soup was just cream with some mushrooms tossed in it. No flavor. The salad bar looked messy. The chicken curry which we picked as our main for the set menu was sweet. No real flavor. ...and best of all, there was no dessert included in the 3/4 course menu. Wow!! This place is in a hotel and is very avoidable.

The lobby cafe of Peninsula Hotel has an elegant atmosphere. It will not be too busy during the evening dining period, allowing people to eat and chat in a quiet environment. In terms of meals, the ingredients are well matched, the cooking techniques are excellent, and the sauces are delicious, especially the appetizers.
