This hotel used to be the place to stay when in Medicine Hat. But it is long past the glory days. Dirty and aging doesn't begin to describe it. Hot tub is closed in, pool wasn't open and slides remove skin from the back. The equipment in the gym belongs in a fitness museum. For 208 bucks a night switch to the Clarion Point. Kids can still waterslide and the room was half price.

The room was a welcome get away but we were facing the swim/slide area so had no fresh air other than using the a/c which was not a time of warm weather. A cracked window to sleep would have been nice. The bathroom though needs some TLC as the toilet paper holder was so rusty and looked like the shower curtain never gets drawn as the bottom of the door was horribly water damaged. But was nice having the casino and the courtyard but again, irresponsible people just don't clean up their dog waste! (Not the staff..talking about the dog owners) Service: 4

We Had a fun Easter weekend with family visiting from out of town! Very FAMILY oriented, pool slides (no hot tub sadly..)& Super polite staff. The breakfast bar is OK, maybe a little more flavor on the food, mostly bland truthfully, though quite clean at the least! Lastly, the Casino was fun! Even won a few $$. I do recommend they watch over the pool area by supervising, and add a LIGHTBULB at the top of the slide. Its VERY dangerous in the evening. Service: 4
