This was my first time visiting The Monkey Tree last night and to be fair, I went in alone was so grateful to be able to use a charge point as phone was dead! Had a nice drink inside whilst taking care of some customer orders online. Met a few nice people and some not so nice! A friend of mine shortly arrived and things gradually got out of hand. There was one women outside on the benches who seemed to be a local to the monkey tree it would of appeared which was very rude. My friend was intoxicted and was not well caused a scene which I was doing my best to handle and take care off, this local women took my £16.99 bottled beverage which was bought prior to arriving at this establishment and poured it down the drain!! Majority of the staff and people changed instantly! My experience got very awkward and become an unfriendly position to be in, bare in mind I did nothing wrong what so ever. Police attended the scene and we had to leave the premises not that I wanted to stay any longer after that! Review would of recieved a positive one if they handled things better as I was enjoying at first but no not good at all and was left feeling embarresed, humiliated and robbed.
