We visited the Oriental Monkey to celebrate our 25 year Anniversary!
We have eaten in many different restaurants and have high standards and this restaurant is truly fantastic.
Prior to visiting the restaurant, I have to say that the communication between myself and the restaurant was superb. Their response to my email and Facebook messenger enquires were spot on and they put everything in place to ensure that we received the best experience possible.
Our waitress couldn’t have been any better, she was professional, very friendly, happy, courteous, knowledgable and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble.
Food:
Now here come the best bit! OUTSTANDING! Be prepared to experience complete fireworks in your mouth! The food was beautiful, beautifully presented, cooked to perfection. And full of fresh flavours that make your taste buds dance with joy.
Decor: the restaurant was tastefully decorated and very beautiful. We were given one of the best tables which had a light show projected on to our table.
The background music was perfect and added to the ambience.
The cocktails were to die for, truly fantastic!
We enjoyed the €75pp taster menu. We were adequately full but couldn’t resist reordering some of the dishes because they were so amazing.
Trust me when I say you will not be disappointed!!!!
One thing I didn’t expect that the restaurant was in an odd location, for some reason I thought it was on the beach but this didn’t spoil it one bit.
I would definitely visit this restaurant again. I fact I’d go to Tenerife just to go back to this restaurant.
