Awesome little cafe/restaurant half way up Te Mata peak. We stopped in after finishing up the grand circuit hike. I couldn’t resist the BLT with an added egg which was cooked to perfection the bacon was crunchy, salad was fresh and bread was perfect! It really was an outstanding handheld. Stacey had the Margarita sandwich which she loved also. We were both quite hungry so couldn’t have easily doubled down but refrained Amazing views, friendly service and lots to choose from on the menu. Samantha, Haydn and the whole staff at Peak House went above and beyond for our 130-person wedding. We couldn’t have asked for more. Their communication was efficient during planning stages and everything on the day went so seamlessly that we were able to enjoy our day to the fullest. Nearly every guest came up to me and raved about the food and how caring and attentive the staff were - especially those that had tricky dietary requirements. Small touches like saving our flowers and items from the day for us to keep just show how much they understood what an important day it was to us. We will be forever grateful to Peak House and highly recommend them to all. Service: 5

Had a family lunch here Food was really delicious and a creative menu. Great efficient service and of course the best views of Hawkes Bay
