First time to The Purple Pig! We had a great bottle of Pinot Noir. Wine list was great! Meatballs were delicious as were the pig ears! Sausage on english muffin was ok as were the greek fried dough balls. I thought the cheese board was extremely small for the price. Would like to return and try a few different options!
This is a place one should not miss when in Chicago. The food is simply wow. Ordered their salt roasted beets which were amazing- with feta- a real palate teaser. Loved their warm honey drizzled corn bread. Didn’t care much for their date cracked with feta. Their devils egg was also good. Their chicken kebabs were outstanding. Ordered expresso with soft serve which was pricey for the quantity n taste.
Overall an amazing experience.

Highly recommend this place.
My fiancé and I came here around 6:30 pm for dinner and didn't have reservations. There was a 45 minute wait for a table ( way better than the two hour waits at other restaurant in Chicago!!). We ended up being able to find a spot for two at the bar within 5 minutes of waiting so decided to sit at the bar! Of course we started off with some drinks and appetizers ! I ordered a cheese board to pair with my wine per usual ;) we also got the grilled broccoli which was amazing!! I love broccoli and this one was soo flavorful! I couldn't get over how good it was! For entrees my fiancé ordered the pork shoulder and I got the chicken kabobs with grilled cauliflower instead of mashed potatoes( had to try to keep it a little carb friendly ;)) My fiancé knows couldn't stop talking about how moist and soft the pork shoulder was. It came with mash potatoes which he liked! The chicken kabobs were very flavorful, tender and juicy! I thought the cauliflower was a little too salty for my taste but good! Overall, great customer service! Everything on the menu is delicious! Can't wait to go back to Chicago to eat here again
