Great food, great service, we loved it!
Great place! The red chile on the adovada was perfectly spicy... just enough to give you that delicious tingle in your mouth. Husband had the blue corn enchiladas with red and green chile Yum! The garlic toast was unexpected but tasty. Our waitress was super friendly, as well as the man who served our food.
We will be back.
Yes... you should come here. The locals know it. Located across the street & opposite from the Saint Francis Basilica, this little restaurant has an unassuming facade and is easily missed.  They have shingles that hang from the walkway ceiling, but there are many others which make it less noticeable when you're driving.  But you're in Santa Fe at the plaza ... so walk! :) The locals say this is where they eat when in town, so that's good enough for me! And when I got to the entrance on a weekend afternoon, I could see that's probably very true! Yep, the lunch crowd was spilling out onto the sidewalk and into the shops. I'm glad they have those little remotes that alert you when a table is ready!  Otherwise... yikes! From the inside, the appearance suggests an old house and courtyard, but I don't know. The staff was quick and efficient ... busily rushing among too many assigned tables, I presume. But, alas, that's the way of things these days. The enchilada plate I ordered was better than average with posole and beans (Christmas style) and the price was better than average. In fact, the pricing throughout the menu seemed lower than that in my favorite Albuquerque spots. Ironically, this tiny part of Santa Fe experience is cheaper. On another happy note... when my wife's order came with red chile and not green, they didn't argue and made a new order in minutes. Awesome!! The drink menu is diverse with an amazing assortment of margaritas. In short, yes, you should try The Shed.
