Been here about a dozen times. Hands down best brisket I've had in Southern California. And this coming from someone who spent about a decade in the south. Service can be slow. Need to order early for lunch. Dinner meats tend to be a little dry.

The food is good. However, I have to complain about the service here. We are the party of 8. After order the food with 4 combos which means it will include 4 order of fountain drinks. The girl took our orders did not asked us what drink do we want. Later, after all the food were out. We have to tell the male server that we have 4 drinks and he asked what we want. However, he did not bring the drink out. We have to ask the female server again for the drink. My husband went to pay the bill. Instead of telling us that they already charge 18% for the party of 6 or more. They showed us the tip page so my husband accidentally tip extra 15% on top of the bill and the service change. If they already charge the SERVICE FEE, they at least have to INFORM us about that. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch

Blown away by the quality of the food. BBQ restaurants tends to be hit or miss and The Smoking Ribs hits! We had the pulled pork fries, which were divine, the last 1/2 pound of brisket, which was tender and savory. My friend had the half rack baby back which he sweats by. I had a rib and personally i felt it was a bit dry but it did melt off the bone so it may just be my personal preference. He also had a side creamed corn, which is made in house and is a sweet and the corn is fresh! It’s almost dessert level sweet! Overall, glad we stopped here.
