This bar and Historic IBM Building can be both really attractive for tourists. That's a good idea to order tasty oysters, spaghetti and grilled bacon. The chef at The Social Honolulu cooks good che. A lot of visitors order delicious draft beer, Mai tai or whiskey. This place offers great matcha, coffee or juice among its drinks.

The warm atmosphere of this spot makes guests feel relaxed and have a nice time. Most visitors mark that the hostess is patient at this place. You may be impressed with affordable prices at this bar. The Social Honolulu scored 4.3 in the Google rating system.

A place to de-stress from work? This is where it's at. The first time I tried the Social was when they were located in McCully and parking was not the greatest over there. Since they moved to Ward, parking is not a huge issue. They are located on the second floor of South Shore Marketplace. The one thing I missed is their happy hour! Please bring it back :) The food and drinks are great! My favorite to get here is the uni mentaiko pasta. It's creamy and filling. Their portion is big so it's easy to share with people. This place does get crowded and loud during peak times which means service can be a little slow, but they try their best to get to everyone. For someone who doesn't like crowds, I prefer coming early to just eat and drink. If you have a big group, I do recommend making reservations or there will be a wait.

I was invited to a graduation party here. This was my first time at The Social Honolulu and I didn't know you could rent out the place for events. This is actually the perfect spot for events. It's not too big and not too small.  They have a back area where they can do a buffet style dinner. That's exactly what the host did. She had a buffet dinner and the food was delicious. There was kim chee friend rice and garlic bacon fried rice, tofu salad, popcorn chicken, garlic shrimp, roast beef and different desserts. Everything was spot on except the beef. It was so tough and hard to chew. The best item of the night actually came before dinner. It was the garlic soy sauce soybeans appetizer. We couldn't get enough. The restaurant kept offering refills and we gladly accepted. Our table must have gotten around five bowls. It's one of the best soybeans that I've had. It's on the second floor of the South Shore Market with tons of free parking. Thanks for having me. I had a blast.
