I ordered take out from here once before and it was pretty decent. Tonight was the opposite, truly awful. I had only the Scallion Oil Noodles. The oil it was cooked in had turned and tasted rancid. The tiger prawns (4) were so overcooked that they were hard to bite into. The shitake mushrooms were good! Maybe they were added afterwards? Maybe it was just a bad night? Food: 1

Decent place. Our waiter was very attentive and wonderful. The food was just okay. We ordered from the vegetarian selection and at the bottom of the cabbage bowl were bits of shredded beef. We’re not strict, but that was strange. The vegetable fried rice was just okay. The add on noddles was plain we asked for soy sauce and use the duck sauce from our spring rolls to give it some flavor. I left full, but the food didn’t really wow either of us. But again, the service was great! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

If you're looking for a Chinese Noodle Bar in NYC, then you NEED to eat at The Tang! Everything is so authentic it reminds me of Popo's (my grandma) cooking! I love that the dishes here are shareable with the family!
