The Taproom at Pike Place is a pleasant pub type bar. The wait staff is friendly It's not too loud and they have a variety of pub type food. You order at the bar, and take a number to your table where your food will be delivered. I didn't have any because I had just eaten at Los Agaves. I sat at the bar and had a flight of beers. You can design your own from a dozen or so rotating taps. The bartender lady was very personable. They don't brew their own beer here, although you will see two large fermenters at one end of the pub. These I'm told were left from the previous tenants, and that it WAS a brewery before the TapRoom moved in. Apparently these things are so big, they just decided t leave them. There is also a little beer can museum on the wall, with old tin type cans and even some ceramic containers. It is interesting to see that there were many many different brands of beers in Washington before prohibition. So, if you're thirsty or just want to try a few beers and see a little Can Museum, stop by The Taproom. BTW, if you enjoyed my review or found it useful funny or cool, please don't hesitate to click the little button to say so, or better yet, go ahead and friend me!
