We got the four course meal. The soup was really good. The salad was not so good. I’m not sure what was off about it but it did not taste very good. Also, the lettuce was whole leaves which is a personal pet peeve of mine. I really don’t want to have to cut my own lettuce. The main courses were gimmicky. It seemed like they are trying too hard to compete with high end restaurants. I had the cauliflower steak which overall was ok, but my husband had the miso eggplant. His broccoli was cold. I don’t know if that was intentional or they just forgot to heat it up. Overall it was an ok dish but nothing amazing. Overall the plates lack color. When I think of vegan dishes, they usually are very colorful. The desserts were good and I was impressed with the vegan ice cream. It was creamy and had a subtle coconut flavor. I’m vegan and make several dishes at home. I think there are many vegan/vegetarian dishes that can be made that are delicious without trying to be something they aren’t. I do think that it is a bit pricey for the ingredients used in the meals. The server was nice but the service is a bit slow. The ambiance is pleasant with some nice art for sale.

Very very slow service - even with a reservation, we were seated a half hour late, and we waited a long time between each course. Some of the other customers bought their own bottles of wine, and I can imagine that drinking would have helped in passing the whole evening there. We had not, and were served lukewarm water from a pitcher. The food consists of very small portions. After some wait, we were served our shared appetizer: one puny little “crab” cake each. The staff seemed proud that they had used jack fruit and hearts of palm to concoct a very small crab cake. Most of their “vegan” foods are gimmicky copy cats of meats, and seemed quite fatty. The ingredients they used are very inexpensive (a few lentils, miniature carrots and under-cooked pieces of sweet potato). Yet the fixed price is high.

Nearly everything is available vegan. Great food, friendly servers, wonderful people. They also offer a weekly meal pickup that is a great value!
