We went to the white hart on Sunday for a roast as a family, unfortunately I would say this is not a family friendly restaurant, so please avoid if you have small children. The service was not pleasant, to the point that a dropped spoon by our 2 year old was very angrily slammed down on the table. First off, no need to slam it, secondly, who returns silverware from the floor back to the table? When I later asked for a new spoon for my toddler, the same waitress was confused as she had already returned the spoon from the floor. I had no words. We tipped, we left, we won’t return.
