Good service, nice atmosphere but overpriced. I was expecting a lot more that a tiny steak at £36 with chips or a burger. The menu is very basic.
Incredible. Doors of our taxi and into building opened by staff. All smiles and welcoming. Lovely decor, clean and inviting. Amazing service, and the staff were happy to talk about the history of the restaurant and building. Food was incredible, and the price reasonable considering the quality and service. 4 people ate a large main, table water,, wine each and coffee for £200 Would recommend
We made a return visit after several years absence. The surroundings are very atmospheric and stylish. We had a good table but the service levels have deteriorated. I was actually asked at one point if I had finished eating - not something that has happened before! The correct cutlery arrived after the main course was served and I had to catch the eye of the staff to refresh our glasses. The food was good enough but certainly not outstanding. The experience would have been improved had the staff acknowledged us on our way out.
