Expensive. Not the best. The wait staff could use some work. That is how I would describe my first and only visit at Tokyo Grill & Sushi. The decor is lovely and the atmosphere is of a traditional Japanese nature, but the sushi itself was lackluster. It seemed to be a modern/overly American take on some Japanese classics; however, they didn't live up to their traditional counterparts. As for the price, the quality fell short of what I paid. The staff, while friendly, wasn't very attentive. They started poorly, as it took them about 15 minutes to realize I had sat down. Once they did, they immediately brought out lemon waters for the table. So what they had just made up in being slow they lost by misordering our rolls as well as not being very knowledgeable of the menu. With everything combined, even though I got a cute orange wheel thing at the end, I probably won't be back for a while and will probably try other local establishments first.
