We happened across the Seaside Toldboden while sightseeing near the Little Mermaid landmark. We didn't have a reservation but wanted to sit outside and found a suitable table near the outside bar. The inside, had we known they had so much space and it was comfortable, we might have chosen to sit inside instead. The food was absolutely delicious! I had a very nice tartare which came with French fries and my fellow travelers had pasta. All food was quite delicious. We also had a charcuterie tray. Having looked forward to visit Seaside and experience the varied food offering, I regret to say it was a very disappointing experience. We had three different dishes from three vendors. We had calamari, they were chewy, cold and very salty. The falafel salat was a disgrace, the falafel were dry, burnt and the couscous was covered in a nondescript bland dressing. The Salade Nicoise was acceptable but not exceptionel which it should be if looking at the price. The wine was good but way overpriced. The service was friendly but impatient. The quality of the food was unacceptable and way overpriced. The decor and location would be five stars for sure.
