STAY AWAY!!! Came in months ago and had some tofu stew, was decent at the time. Recently thy have gone completely downhill. Their soup is basically just red color water, no flavor and super bland. We asked for seafood and they gave us beef, when approached about it they insisted we put the order wrong.

Top Sushi replaces the great Korea Spoon. I miss Korea Spoon and Kristy. The new owners are not Korea Spoon nor Kristy but they are just as friendly and in addition to Korean food they have a large selection of Sushi. The owner David SIm has 35 years of experience as a Korean/Japanese chef in NYC. As I entered the newly opened restaurant at 11:30am, the staff/owners having lunch warmly greeted me. The woman who took my order was very pleasant and took her time going over the menu with me and talking about the new restaurant. I was taking lunch out so I skipped the Korean menu and ordered the broiled eel lunch combo to go. The lunch included 4 different banchans and soup along with the bento box. The eel was very good, nice and tender with a creamy consistency, perfectly cooked. The woman at the counter asked me if I liked Kimchi, does a duck like water? does the Pope wear a funny hat? yes I like Kimchi so she gave me a small container to take home. I asked if they have a Yelp account and she kind of frowned so I told her I will open one up for them. The chef owner has a great business model and sense of humor, he said if I come back they will stay open, if I don't come back they will close. So Yelp family go ahead and try them out and support a new family owned business. FYI they also run the fried chicken shop next door sharing the same kitchen. It's not open yet but looks nearly complete.
