This is a nice little cafe serving some nice grilled sandwiches along with some Portuguese pastries. Most of the food is basically standard cafe food. Sandwiches go for about 2,50 euro. Available are the Hawaiian, your typical ham and cheese in a grilled sandwich, a tuna melt and a supposed standard grilled sandwich although I don't know what is in that. They are both super tasty. Two is more than enough even for lunch and the pastries are really delicious too.

Mal wieder portugiesisches Breakfast heute. Schnell die letzten Sonnenstrahlen erhascht in diesem "Sommertag" Anfang Juli, der Aprilwetter beschert, genau, Hamburg, mal wieder Regen. Noch Siegestrunken vom gestrigen Elfmeter-Krimi gegen Italien - "Drama, Baby, Drama" würde Bruce sagen. Mir war das irgendwann echt zu viel - warum eigentlich immer gegen Italien? Egal Fluch besiegt, Croissant mit Käse, Ruccula, Tomate, Putenbrust bestellt. Dazu einen mächtigen Galao, den portugiesischen Milchkaffee. So lässt es sich leben. Das Transmontana II ist zwar nicht ganz so cool, wie sein großer Bruder auf der Schanze, aber auch nice. Wir setzte uns nach draußen unter die Markise, 6-7 Minuten später kommen unsere Croissants, frisch aus dem Toaster. Schön warm und knusprig - so muss das. 11 Euro dafür ist auch völlig ok. Kann man immer wieder gut machen!
