Loved it. A secred Place. A wonderfull Restaurant. Amazing Food.
I tortelli Parmigiani top!!!! The best trattoria I've eaten in Italy!!! This traditional trattoria located in a small town called Coloreto is worth the trip. Unfortunately it's very hard to get a reservation , I heard it's booked for the next few months but thanks to my local friends who go there every week, they were able to get me in. My recommendation is i prosciutti with torta fritta, egg Benedict, i tortelli di zucca, & gelato di zabaglione. So good!!!! 6 of us ate so much and we paid about $35 each. Highly recommended! It doesn’t look like much from the outside and it’s a bit out of the way... but don’t let that put you off. Really good typical Italian food - local produce, fresh and home made. Service was excellent, English was great and they went out of their way to explain / show things. Ice cream is a must. Don’t go near or past Parma without going here. We weren’t able to make a booking (tried calling several times but no answer), but showed up at 12pm on a Monday and got in ok.
