A small Italian restaurant in the quieter area around Russell Square. The starter was tasty and sufficient. The portion of the main course was just right. The desserts looked very tasty. We recommend the bruschetta with tomatoes and the spaghetti carbonara as well as the spaghetti with meatballs ;) We'd love to stop by again next time we're in London. To date the place I’ve been in London that feels the most like a local trattoria in Italy. It’s my favourite place to come, the atmosphete is perfect, food is lovely, and the service is so heartfelt. Would recommend! Lovely experience eating here. Came here with a group of friends for a birthday dinner, all of us are from California studying abroad. The food was excellent, and the service was above and beyond for our friends birthday. If you want a delicious, no-fuss, reasonably priced Italian meal, come to Trattoria Verdi!
