We were given a voucher to use here, struggled to use it before it expired as we couldn’t get a reply regarding a booking. After some time we gave up trying to book when it suited us and we ended up asking them when it suited them to have us for dinner, so at their convenience we booked in. Service was good enough and the atmosphere was okay, food was the let down as it didn’t come out at the quality you would expect for the price. Some overcooked steak and veges that smelt and tasted like meat that had gone off. Pretty disappointed and we haven’t been back Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

10 of us, from around the Sth Island, got together for my wife's birthday last Saturday (25/3/23). The food was superb "best meal I have ever had", "can't remember when I had such a good meal", " great steak, cooked perfectly", "the red wine jus was tasty and I asked for more", "this fish is to die for". These were some of the comments expressed. Everyone was pleased with their meal and dessert and couldn't believe that Timaru had a restaurant of this class. (My wife and I live in Timaru so have eaten there a number of times and never been disappointed). Bravo Steak @ Customs House Vegetarian options: It's a carnivors delight Kid-friendliness: Adult restaurant Parking: plenty on street Wheelchair accessibility: I use 2 sticks and there are about 6 steps; don't know about wheel chairs and you would need to contact them. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: NZ$70–80
