I don't know how this spot was so completely off my radar but happy that it's on it now! Tucked away on 38th and Vilet, Triciclo Peru is described as a empanada pisco sour bar. Came here with a friend on a Friday night. We were able to be seated right away (which we were glad of after having already been to two other spots that were super crowded with long waits). We both immediately ordered pisco sours (of course) and Yucas Fritas to share. Both were outstanding. For my main dish, I went for the special of the evening, which was their arroz chaufa de pollo. If you've never had this dish, it's peruvian fried rice with shredded chicken, a sliced, slightly spicy hot dog, bell peppers, green onions, a chopped fried egg, soy sauce, and sesame oil. *chef's kiss* It was flavorful, hearty, and delicious. The service was attentive and their dining room is colorful and welcoming. A new fave! Get to it!

Stopped by Triciclo Peru for an early dinner. The restaurant was very cute and inviting. We ordered the savory wings, a ceviche, and the lomo saltado fettuccine. The dishes are on the expensive side but the portions are large so it kind of makes up for the price. The lomo saltado wasn't my favorite but everything was still tasty. Service was good as well!
