Had the most lovely experience today at cafe at the house. The afternoon tea was impressive one of the best I have had and I have been to a lot of different places for afternoon tea. Food was the best presented so much care and attention and also delicious. The staff couldn’t do enough for us lovely friendly atmosphere from the staff and other diners was really nicely decorated also . I will 100% be back and recommending to others thank you for a lovely experience and delicious food very impressed .

My first visit today, had breakfast, was amazing, staff friendly too, on my way out picked some delicious treats to take away, first class on food, will definitively be calling again.

This is a place easily forgotten/ignored. I visited a few weeks back with a friend and had coffee. Whilst there I noticed the delicious looking food on offer. I called back in to buy a steak and ale pie to take honme for tea. Sooo Glad I did. This is without doubt, the best pie I have ever tasted. It was chock full of prime steak with no gristle in sight, pastry was light and beautiful and the presentation just made you want to eat it. Fantastic food, well done - I'll be back again. P.S. no time for a photo, too busy eating the pie,lol. Long may you prosper.
