We ate at the “Trius Winery & Restaurant Date Night”. We had a delicious 4-courses. 1st Course: Sourdough Baguette & Rosemary Cracker with Chickpea Hummus, Olive Oil, Hazelnuts; Trius Red Wine Butter & Sea Salt; Olive Oil & Niagara Abaco Balsamic. 2nd Course: We ate Trius Winter Salad & Fresh Cow’s Milk Burrata Cheese. 3rd Course (Main Dish): Ontario Cornish Hen with White Bean & Winter Vegetable Cassoulet, ProsVuitton Boudin, Confit Drum Stick, Riesling Sauerkraut Apple, Bacon & Raisin Dressing; and Trius Fish & Chips - Beer Battered Pacific Halibut Filet, Crispy Potato Rosati, Celeriac & Horseradish Slaw & Sauce Gribiche & Malt Vinegar Gel. 4th Course: Dessert - Lennox Farm Rhubarb - Icewine Rhubarb Compote & Vanilla Angel Food Cake with Cardamom Mascarpone Cream, Candied Pistachio. We sipped on Trius Sauvignon Blanc wine. The dinner was excellent, and the waiter was superb, great service, beautiful view of the winery and vines.
