This place was very beautiful, relaxing, and had some of the best breakfast I have had. The only problem with the place was that the room they checked us into had a broken AC. Which is crucial down in BCS, we notified the front desk attendant; he came to our room and said we should leave the AC on for a couple minutes. Like we hadn't already done that? Customer is always right? Not here. They got us into a new room with a better AC. We had payed cash, 5 nights in advance only stayed for 3; we had an emergency, I was going into labor. I asked if we could get a refund for the rest of the nights we wouldn't be staying there, they said yes and if I would prefer the refund in cash or to a debit/credit card. I told the lady on the phone that I payed cash so cash would be great. So we get to the front desk and sign the refund paperwork. She asks me to write down the reason as to why I'm asking for a refund. Weird? Yeah... I do that and she says she won't be able to do cash because they don't carry that amount of cash on them??? So I ask for a manager and he says the same thing, at this point my husband and I are upset and there is nothing we could do. I was going into labor and needed to go home. I gave them my debit card information that would be best to receive the refund. It's been 4 months. We are still waiting for the refund. I have emailed and called. Now the place says it is temporarily closed. Very inconvenient and unnecessary process.

Abel was THE BEST. He made us delicious Cadillac margaritas (well balanced in citrus, sweet and strong). Service was attentive and friendly. They also have a good selection of food- wide range of options. We enjoyed their Sunday buffet at a very reasonable price ($12 US dollars).
