Both Banco Espanol de Credito and Txapela are recommended for visiting. Order the menu of Spanish cuisine at this restaurant. A number of reviewers note that you can have tasty spanish tapas, pintxos and jamon here. Good parfait, baked custard and croissants are among the dishes to be ordered at Txapela. Get your meal started with delicious Sangria, beer or cordial. The whole impression won't be complete without cappuccino that is great here.

Your children will be offered a extensive kids’ menu. Many guests find the staff accommodating. People mention that the service is fine here. Prices at this place are worth attention since they're attractive. You will certainly appreciate the peaceful ambiance and divine decor. But google users haven't given this spot a high rating.

Food was tepid and service was awful. Facilities were dirty and no toilet paper to be found. Wine was cheap and they had no higher end option. If you want fast food tapas, this is your place. It's definitely a tourist trap.

Our favorite food from the trip. Look forward to going there again. Multiple things we ordered again. The service was OK. They were very nice. Most of the things came very quickly.

A lesson learned long ago....eat where the locals do. This is how we stumbled upon Txapela. For our group we had a guide that basically gave us the afternoon off after negotiating Las Ramblas. At our dismissal we invited him to dine with us for lunch. Talk feat for an out of towner. He suggested Txapela, so off we go. Old wood decor, and tapas that basically lined the counter. Now comes the part I love, what to pick. Okay I gotta have what Uli is having. A couple of Jamon on excellent bread....delicious. Next a charizio sausage once again on great bread...but this is warm and super tasty. But wait we have to wash this down. Now comes a drink I'm not familiar with but dying to find here in the states. A cider that has to be poured at a certain distance to airate the drink. Wonderful and it's only 2% alcohol! Wow. Last on the tapas parade was a goose pate that I have never had and this I would go back for! Also in our conversations Uli told us this was a Basque Tapas tavern and why the tapas were so much better and fresher than most places. Plus many of the locals enjoy a quick bite here. This will be a stop again!
