It is a hidden germ. Real homefood feeling. would give it a 4.5. Good authentic food with very gernerous portions. Friendly service and atmosphere.
Food was amazing with every mouthful. We had beef tartar for starter, snitzel, sweet cheese and cabbage dumpling for mains. The service was great too. We said that we wanted to share everything, and the kitchen split all our meals to two. It was a wonderful service with friendly staff.
Unfortunately, going to U'MAMY is a bit like gambling - sometimes, the dishes are delicious, but severeal times I got disappointed coming to eat a specific dish and then finding out that the menu available online was outdated or I received a dish different from what I ordered. My most recent experience was that I checked the opening hours (website & google said 22:00) and when I arrived there at 20:15, the service informed me that the kitchen had already closed at 20:00, because they were closing the restaurant at 21:00. Sadly, I left without food. I mentioned this (and the chronically outdated menu) in a comment on this facebook page, but my comments were deleted. I don't think this is an appropriate way to respond to criticism, so right now my bad experiences outweigh the promising concept and food in this restaurant.
