Once the promenade around the Paley Center for Media is over, visit Upstairs at '21. The chef at this restaurant cooks tasty fillet steaks, crabs and tuna. If hungry, come here for nicely cooked cheesecakes. After a long working day, you can try delicious wine.

The high ratings of Upstairs at '21 would be impossible without the good waitstaff. There is a charming atmosphere and beautiful decor at this place.

I feel unconfortable with the US food because of its difference with the Italian one. Food was good but not special with the exactly same proposal of the most of the restaurants I visited. Food without identity and personality. Moreover I don't understand how is possibile that a pasta dish costs exactly the same of a meat or fish dish. I mean production costs are totally different but for the final customer is the same expense. The location is pretty nice.
Sophisticated atmosphere, prompt courteous staff, and food that is an out of this world experience.   I was in Manhattan for work and the three of us made a Friday night reservation before we went to a concert at a nearby church.  The staff were over the top helpful to ensure we'd get through our meal on time for the concert.   My culinary adventure began with the Tuna Tartare crème fraîche, caviar, sauce gribiche.  A stunning presentation followed by what is described as the best sushi ever made except with an almost velvet texture.  The sauce gribiche was the perfect accent. For the midcourse they accommodated my gluten intolerance and prepared a very simple salad with an extraordinary citrus and light dressing. My main, the filet mignon, was a thick cut of meat evenly cooked through.   I can't say enough kind things about the staff here.   This in itself is worth a flight to New York.
