My partner and I headed eagerly to warung beach breeze tonight given the great TripAdvisor rating... we were VERY DISAPPOINTED! Of our two dishes 1 was ok (chicken Katsu special) but extremely tasteless BUT the other (ayam tepung nanas) was inedible! The “crispy deep fried chicken with pineapple” was essentially the worlds worst takeaway sweet and sour chicken. Chewy overcooked chicken breast in a soggy uncooked batter with no flavour other than raw flour! A bad night only got worse when we were then handed our bill and they had tried to charge us for dishes we didn’t order and I had to argue with three staff to get the items removed from our bill. Overall a terrible experience on a trip that has otherwise been filled with great food experiences. And in case you are thinking this is just one angry customer who had a bad experience, the couple that sat next to us that we were chatting with also found their meals extremely disappointing and far worse than both their visit to the same restaurant 3 years ago and the current TripAdvisor rating had led them to expect!!!!
