After enjoying Lake Tyers State Park, go to this bar which is not far away. Australian cuisine is recommended to degust at Lake Tyers Beach Tavern. Have good mushroom pizza, жареный барашек and parmo at this place when you happen to be near it. Do not go away without degusting tasty sticky toffee pudding. Take your chance to taste delicious whiskey or good draft beer. This spot offers great latte among its drinks.
Sitting on the veranda, you will enjoy a great view. Most guests find the waitstaff accommodating. If you come to this bar, have no doubt, you are to like the surrounding homey ambiance. Google users awarded Lake Tyers Beach Tavern 4.5.

Enjoyed a lovely meal at this pub. Food is top notch and reasonably priced. Menu had many great choices. We had seafood chowder and a pizza. Setting overlooking Lake Tyers is spectacular and decor is very nice. The other great thing about this pub is they provide 2 nights free camping/vanning out the back with some power and toilets and showers. Thank you Lake Tyers Beach Tavern. Service: 5

We arrived for lunch today, only to find the place completely closed. Whilst I can understand that you can get caught out with staff going sick at the last minute, I don't understand why there was no sign on the door to "explain" why it wasn't open. In the time we were there waiting at least 20 more people arrived. We drove an hour to get here (as did many others we spoke to). I would recommend phoning ahead, but they weren't answering their phone.

On first arrival the location appears to be awesome right on the beach with great views. That’s if you were fortunate enough to find one of the few car spaces at this dead end street location. And of course the view you actually get will depend on where you sit. You can get parking in local streets but it’s about 5-10min walk down and back up steep road and no footpath on the main one. So best for the driver to do a drop and park run. There is plenty of seating inside and out. And we were lucky to find a table right on 12pm outside on a Melbourne cup long weekend. Good range of beers and food on offer. You order at the bar as the QR code is the menu only. We then waited 50min for the meals for the two of us. The side of chips took another 10min. The food was good, but our attitude to it wasn’t great by then and my schooner was gone and I was driving so wasn’t keen for another. Looking around at the other outside tables that type of delay was wide spread. What was worse for some small groups of families and friends was not everyone getting the meals at the same time either. Wait staff were friendly but showed no empathy and quite clear were unimpressed with all the food arrival issues surrounding us. I’m sure this pub would be awesome or it at least as the potential to be perhaps on a different day Service: 1
